FF #2

This week's question:

What is a deal breaker for you in a book? For example, do you abhor love triangles? Or can’t deal with bad editing?

Oh man - I have a HUGE problem with annoying female lead characters... I can't stomach the characters that constantly get under your nails and annoy you... you know - the ones you want to constantly jump through the book and smack upside the head... I've had to FORCE myself to finish a few books with characters like this recently but a lot of times, I just put the book down...

What's your deal breaker?

    1. Ooh yes, that does get to me on occasion... if it's done RIGHT, it doesn't bother me... if I'm connected enough to everything else in the story/plot/characters, I can overlook it... but when it's done the same way over and over...ugh >_<

  4. Agreed! What is the point of reading a book where you hate the main character? :/

  6. Completely agree! The funny thing is most of those books are written by female authors - you would think they knew better!
