Bethany Lopez was born in Detroit, Michigan, and
grew up in Michigan and San Antonio, Texas. She went to High School at Dearborn
High, in Dearborn, Michigan, which is where she has set her Young Adult series.
She is married and has a blended family with five children. She is currently
serving in the United States Air Force as a Recruiter in Los Angeles,
California. She has always loved to read and write and has seen her dream
realized by independently publishing her novels through Amazon, Barnes &
Noble, and Smashwords.

My Review:
| Alrighty - so, this series is a fun, easy read when you need a quick romantic fix in your life. Being a novella series, they're all quick, short reads. I adored each of the characters & loved how they all rotate within the trilogy. I had a few "eh" moments but honestly, it was still enjoyable. (I'm not a huge fan of insta-love and definitely not insta-forgiveness.)And the fact that everyone was okay kissing everyone else was a little strange haha I'm a jealous type though - I don't like sharing. :) When I started I Choose You (bk 2) I thought to myself that this series is getting better & better. I enjoyed book 2 much more than book 1. There were less "eh" moments and I started to love the characters even more! The level of emotion in I Choose You is higher, at least it for me it was, so I felt more in tune with the characters. Nicole is precious & I really wanted poor Kent to get his chance at a great relationship. Now, getting to book 3 - Trust in Me! Best out of the three!! I absolutely adored Trust In Me. It is definitely my favorite out of all three novellas. I was soooooo hung up on Roni & Rich. Her past broke my heart. Then you learn more about Rich and you just want to reach up and initiate one big group hug. I teared up a few times because I wanted what was best for them. I wanted them to both have a happy ending and move forward. Again, this trilogy is a highly enjoyable, quick romantic fix. Bethany's writing style flows easily and the characters are all wonderful. You'll end up with your favorites out of the three but you'll still love each of the characters. I definitely recommend this series for those looking for a nice Saturday or Sunday read with no pressure or totally tear jerking moments. Overall - my rating for the series as a whole - would be 3.8 Stars |
